Baked Chicken and Rice Recipe
This baked chicken and rice recipe is totally easy to make and definitely delicious. This is a house hold favorite and a quick and easy chicken and rice recipe for all families to enjoy!
For this simple chicken and rice recipe you will combine everything, and put it in the oven up to 1 ½ hours, hence the name, FORGOTTEN chicken.
So let’s look at the ingredients you will need.
1 pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
2 cups of minute rice (you can use brown rice as well)
1 tbsp of butter
1 envelope of onion soup mix
Use the tbsp. of butter to butter a 9 x 13 or similar baking pan.
Combine the cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup, 1 can of water (chicken broth can be used instead), minute rice all into a medium bowl.
Mix and pour into the buttered pan.
Place the chicken breasts on top and sprinkle the onion soup mix even on top of the chicken breasts.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place into a preheated oven at 350F.
Let cook for 1 to 1 ½ hours or until cooked thoroughly.
